Many changes immediately.

Some in a few weeks.

But by mid summer we should be back at normal. Eateries at 75 percent and tables of up to ten.

Bars can go to 50.

Lots of other upgrades.

Amusement parks mid month at 50 percent. Fine arts concerts at 50 percent. Large outdoor events left up to county decision if more than 500 people.

I could not find anything about spectators at sporting events though.

He already said that sporting events in outdoor stadiums can have 25% capacity. I believe that was effective 5/31 when pro sports were allowed.

2. Except as provided below by paragraph number 5, this 50 percent occupancy limit does not apply to outdoor areas, events, or establishments, except that the following outdoor areas or outdoor venues shall operate at no more than 50 percent of the normal operating limits as determined by the owner:

a. professional, collegiate, or similar sporting events;

So 50% for outdoor stadiums? Am I reading that wrong?

I think that is right. So if a high school stadium seats 5 thousand it could have 2500?

I hope it goes well. I'm still suck in stage one with no timeline. The events of the past week have really taken the heat off local officials to keep opening up.

If the states that do open fare well, then it should be sooner for the rest of us.

The order leaves an exemption for outdoor stadiums, saying that local counties and cities cannot override the new 50% attendance capacity in phase 3.

League City/Kemah. All the ones around here are caution taped off or have signs posted. I have seen quite a few folks disregarding the signs recently and I am about to do the same. Trying not to teach the kids that, but enough is about enough.

That sounds like a city or county decision. I would definitely follow up with them.

I'm in League City as well. I've noticed a few that still have caution tape, but the couple in our neighborhood do not have signs on them anymore.

Clearly an OHS game. If Permian we're playing it would be full.
