T cell response and testing

Based on the recent study/theory that some are exposed to COVID but don't produce antibodies but show a T-cell response....

Can you test for this? Would it be a similar test? Expensive?

I use to do lab tests but never heard of this one. Of course I haven't done that work in 20 years either.


Either way the article suggests T cell testing is a thing so I guess is relatively new


Antibody testing is cheap. I doubt this one is cheap

You can do flow cytometry to look for spikes in specific t-cell lines. You just have to know what T cell receptors you want to map out. I don't know how much it costs, but I'm sure it's not cheap, and it's definitely not something that can be done on a large scale.
