My wife is a heart failure APN. She has been doing telemedicine since March, but is returning to seeing patients in clinic full time in a couple of weeks. The practice is part of a major hospital network, but they are not providing N95 masks for clinic use. The doctor that she works for says he'll pay for masks if she can find a source.

Does anyone have a reputable supplier that will sell to the general public? The internet seems to be filled with sketchy vendors.

I don't, but just remember that an N95 that doesn't form a seal isn't really any better than a standard surgical mask. If it's a brand and size she's familiar with, that she's been previously tested for, then it would make sense to buy without fit testing.

Other than that, only advice I can offer is to check local medical supply stores. I've seen one here in California with a sign out front saying they have N95s. Can also check home depot/lowes, as they have similar masks that are supposed to be 95% efficiency.

Can also consider a resuable respirator from 3M.
