It burns through a population in about 12-14 weeks after major infection starts and then it subsided fairly fast.

What's particularly stupid about this is that if you don't have a durable immune response, that implies that a vaccine is probably a fantasy too. Also, mild cases may be because younger people have some form of immunity already. People being "reinfected" is probably mostly bad tests. The tests may just be picking up left over particles of the virus but not an active infection. I wouldn't take anything seriously unless there's actual evidence for it. And for most viruses, you have some kind of immunity when you recover.amercer said:

People with mild or asymptomatic cases may not generate much of an immune response. Vaccine should still work though since early reports are that it generates a strong immune response.
