Not first hand, but did hear a 2nd hand yesterday (someone that had talked to someone 1st hand). I asked him three times, "so you talked him directly" etc.

Who knows....

Had that repeated to me from two different Texas cities, including my own. In fact, the city made an effort to verify the claim and could never find a name or firsthand account of who this supposedly happened to.

But, people swear it happened because they read it on Facebook.

No need to be obtuse. Point still stands, whether you want to discount it or not. I can't speak to any one else making that claim, but it definitely happened to my wife's friend.
