Giant turkey legs and masks don't work well together. It's also basically a giant bar with some oom pah beats in the background.

Stinks they can't have it, I grew up in New Braunfels but haven't been to Wurstfest in about 10 years. It's big for the locals.

Ya, that sucks. While in Austin we went almost every year for 10 years or so. I miss it living up here in McKinney. They do have an Oktoberfest though, but doubt we see it this year. Bavarian Grille in Plano it is.

Did they finish construction of the market after the fire?

Edit: sounds like they haven't. Probably a sigh of relief for them actually.

I've been cynically thinking the same thing... buys them more time for the rebuild.

Edit: I don't mean to imply at all that's why they canceled - just agreeing that it's probably some relief for them.
