Any thoughts on the topic? Up in Jackson Wyoming, and they are super hyper on kids wearing masks. I'm fine with it for adults but not liking the 5 and 7 yo having to wear one. It has not been like this in any other place we've been.

For fun, and anecdote, one of the stores also made it store policy for you to use their hand sanitizer when both entering and leaving their store.

I think it is ridiculous for kids under 10 especially. I have a friend with a two year old and Wal-Mart would not let her in without a mask on her 2 YEAR OLD.

It's stupid and not based on science or data. It's things like this that make people question everything. For better or worse.

My kids (4,6,7) wear them in a public place, where we candidly don't go very often with children. It doesn't seem to bother them, not sure why it should bother other people if they are wearing them.

As for science, I do believe they are less likely to get it and less likely to spread it. That being said, they can get it and they can spread it and it's a really small inconvenience so we just wear the masks anyways. My wife made them with prints they like so they think they're cool and they're parents are doing it so it seems normal to them.

I don't think the masks need to be mandatory for younger kids, but if we choose to wear one that's our business.

We usually have our 4 and 6 year olds wear them when going in stores if we really can't go in alone without them with us.

They think it is cool too. 6 year wears one like a boss. 4 year old usually pulls it down to pick her nose and then pulls it up to eat the picked boogers. We just laugh.

My 8 year old has an Ironman mask and my 11 year old likes wearing my baclava and sunglasses. They think it's fun to dress up in costumes for the grocery store. My 13 year old wears medical masks I get from the hospital and thinks this is all overblown.

Boerne ISD is moving forward with the plan for in person school to include masks for PK-12th grade.

We take our two kids, 4 and 7 everywhere. Refuse to stay home. I never make them wear a mask.

F all this crap. Open everything back up.
