What's the word on Advil? My 5 yr old..

5 yr old is sick, running a fever and a cough. Trying to see how he does until tomorrow. Was there a conclusion from the docs on if Advil had negative effects as opposed to strictly Tylenol? Or, can both be taken to help the fever?

Probably ok, initially thought to increase Ace 2 receptor expression so could let more virus in the cells. Now don't look too be a significant factor.

thank you, doc! Hoping this isn't covid but certainly cautious. Just took his oxygen reading and it was good.

Thank you, Jim. Advil and Tylenol reducing the fever. Will see what tomorrow brings. Can 2020 just go away...
