It is in and out of stock at farmacias in Mexico. I have seen it several times and bought some for some folks.

If you suspect you need it, let me know and I can look in Mex.

This is precisely the sentiment and patient type that I nor any other physician want in their practice. Patients who have already decided that they know best and don't need medical advice, just a prescription, can go pound sand.

So getting a 2nd opinion isn't a smart thing to do? If you try one who you aren't sure is necessarily making the best decision for you despite your research, you shouldn't at least try another? This should go with anything in the medical field. Do your own research, see what multiple Drs are saying. If your Dr refuses that, at least get a 2nd opinion. Do your own homework when it comes to your own life.

Now, if you go to 2 or 3 and they all recommend the same thing? That's different. Obviously you listen to them. Sorry if that hurts your feelings. This isn't about patient knows best. It's about making sure you are being taken care of the best.

You'd have to find an independent physician. Many large group practices will not prescribe it. If near Houston, Dr Immanuel would be a good choice. Best if early after diagnosis/postive test result.
Dr Immanuel gets ridiculed on this board for her personal beliefs, but her death rate is zero, and she treats all ages all co-morbidities. Hard to argue with results.

Stay away from docs who argue against seeking a second opinion.

Or... insulinhub.com.

Without knowing anything about you, it would be best to take advice from your PCP who knows your health history and any other physicians you see yearly. I had afib 2 years ago which required a cardioversion to correct and I have no idea how hcq would impact that or not. If i were to get covid, I would contact my PCP as well as my cardiologist for my best care path.

**** straight off.

My death rate of patients for covid is zero too. It's easy to make claims when you have to put up zero proof

A reminder, her "personal beliefs" are
  • medicine contains Alien DNA
  • you get ovarian cysts because you have sex with demon in your dreams
  • you don't have to wear a mask
  • there is a cure for COVID

Two of those are likely true.

Why not just prescribe oneself chicken noodle soup and Netflix? That would also allow for a 99.9%+ chance of survival assuming they aren't coming from a nursing home.

Pretty sure most sick people aren't going to a doc-in-box shop seeking care for COVID. Even if they were, I don't think she has credentials at any hospital to take care of them inpatient if they needed it.

Further, how many has she actually seen? What data has she published that shows ages and comorbidities? Has she actually ensured complete follow up with every single patient she's seen? If you know anything about studies of any reasonable size, you'll know that it's inevitable to lose patient's to follow up.

Do you think someone who has zero car accidents driving around in rural Idaho is as good of a driver as someone who has zero accidents driving in a major city like Houston, Dallas, or LA?

I tested positive for the IgM antibody after about 2 weeks or so of being mildly sick... Never real sick but broke out in some rashes on the chest and lower legs and very mild fever, lost since of smell, went to my Dr after after about 3 weeks, I saw him 4-5 days after I took the Antibody test. Dr said rashes were folliculitis possibly from virus strain on the body, he Prescribed me HCQ and said take 200 mg a day and 40-80 units of zinc and doxycycline... he did this as a precautionary measure in case I was carrying the virus .. pharmacy filled the order right away.. it seemed Very normal .. I didnt get tested for Covid because I didn't think I was sick enough to have it. My Dr wasn't too happy that I went to see him for the rash and when I told him I tested positive for IgM Just 4 days ago he looked at me like I was crazy ( they may have had some protocol for patients who are sick, i didn't follow any of it for the visit ) ... I guess that's why he put me on HCQ as a precautionary measure in case I was still positive .. He had me go take an antigen test and it came back negative ... just a entirely odd situation .. I probably should have got tested when I was sick but I didn't feel sick enough to worry about it. I self quarantined for 2 weeks. I'm on meds now but not even sure I need them
