My little sister, aged 40. Tiny little thing, weighs about 110, runs 10ks and rides a peloton bike.

Covid positive on 7/10. 101+ fever for 32 days. Ha some sort of arrhythmia, elevated resting heat rate > 100 following resolution of Covid symptoms. Still has hacking, unproductive cough.

Clearly she has some sort of lingering neurological/electrical dysfunction following Covid.

I am so sorry. I hate to hear that. I hope her issues resolve soon. I am sure that is miserable for her.

Sorry to hear that. Prayers for her complete recovery. I had a relatively healthy 49 year old patient die last week from COVID. Such a tragic illness that is so unpredictable in who it takes and who it spares.

If the infection draws out Too long, perhaps the damage to the circulatory system is very difficult for the body to heal. It has some effects that are seemingly random but that is only because we don't understand all the mechanisms by which It causes certain symptoms and reactions. There's always an explanation, it just may be difficult to tease out of the data.

This sounds a lot like MIS-C that we have seen in kids and young adults.

Hope she pulls through sounds terrible.

Ive had about 3.5 months of lingering covid symptoms. I'll feel fine and then 1-2 weeks later the covid symptoms return all over again. I'm 35 male, in good shape, no underlying issues. Can't seem to shake this covid.
