What does having the Covid Antibody mean ?

Agmom went to the doctor today for some vein procedure and was told she tested positive for the covid antibody -
no that she had "covid" but was positive for the "antibody"

the doctor did not seem to be too concerned and performed the procedures, but the nurse(s) did not seem to be too happy about having to deal with her ?

Means she has had the virus in the past. Not sure why the nurses would be concerned. They cannot get it from the antibodies...

Yeah she had it, fought it off with no real symptons. I would think nurses and doctors would want to work with antibody positive people since they know they wouldnt be contagious.

Most nurses are great, but they aren't Drs and she sounds like one that doesn't understand

I had one ask me what CO2 was once. When I answered carbon dioxide, she asked if that was new

I had COVID in June and my blood work last week said I still had the antibodies. My doctor said it means I'm still somewhat immune to it still.
