I have been taking the supplements that Dr Rev recommends everyday for several months now. I have been COVID free but of course that doesn't mean anything I get it. I was curious. How many are taking these supplements and has anybody tested positive while taking the supplements? I know it's anecdotal, but just curious.

Taking nothing. Don't know a single person in San Diego (where I live) that's had it.

I'm in North County, know quite a few folks that have had it. San Diego county is actually doing pretty good, considering the size and population. However, we'll see what happens with this current uptick.

I don't think the supplement cocktail is supposed to prevent infection, but lessen severity if you get it.

I have not taken any supplements other than whey protein and creatine. I have not gotten it yet, despite several exposures. Although I was just tested yesterday due to an exposure a week ago, so we'll see...

I'm not suggesting no one has it, I follow it all very closely. Just showing making a point about small sample size and the vitamins.

I have been taking all of the suggested supplements from the beginning and knock on wood, have had no issues. Seems I certainly have been around people who were infected but fortunately to date, I have had no issues.
Boss Lady also taking many of the supplements and she too has had no issues; and she's out and about much more than me. Hopefully it will continue that way!!! Thanks to all the Docs who have shared their wisdom and experiences.

Did someone say Poll? Where do I vore?!?!

Take zinc regularly. Eat very well so likely get Vit D already in my diet. For instance, egg yolks have a high Vitamin D content and I eat at least 3 full eggs a day, as we all should. Yolks are the healthiest and most nutrient rich part of the egg. To throw it out is a massive waste. I add egg whites for extra protein. But that is really all egg whites are. Very important marcro no doubt, but don't skip the yolk. Also, Fish like salmon and sardines, cod etc have lots of Vit D.

I don't think it will prevent you from testing positive

The idea is to lessen the impact of being positive

I was taking zinc, vitamin d, vitamin c, and baby aspirin and fish oil have been on my every day for years( along with several blood pressure meds). I have also been drinking a lot of green tea.

I got COVID while taking all that, but I only felt really bad for about 2 days, moderately congested for another week, and recovered quickly.

Where can I find his plan?

So far I'm seeing Zinc, D, Quercetin, and aspirin from this thread. Anything else?

it's at the bottom of every update he puts out.

Here is a repost of the supplements we have discussed to have potential benefits.
Quercetin from 250mg up to 1g twice per day Remember this is a Zinc ionophore.
Vitamin D3 Take this for sure if you are deficient and I now recommend taking it either daily or weekly as long as your values are not too high. Remember too much vitamin D can cause issues. However, if you are diagnosed with Covid-19 take 50,000IU immediately as this appears to have significant benefits.
Sleep greater than 8 hours per night
CoQ10 100-300mg per day: a potent antioxidant that potentially helps balance oxidative stress, increase vasodilation, prevent clot formation and decrease vasoconstriction.
Zinc any amount is probably good but take what you can tolerate without making you feel bad up to 40mg. You do not want to be Zinc deficient as it is how many drugs like HCQ work.
Melatonin 0.1mg to 10mg at night. Take what you can tolerate and what helps you sleep without making you feel drugged or tired in the morning. If you are diabetic watch your sugars.
N-acetylcysteine (NAC) - 600mg twice per day shown to decrease severity of influenza, improve lung functions in COPD, antioxidant properties, potentially helps prevent clotting and with mental disorders. Caution for asthmatics as there is potential for bronchospasm but this is rare.
Vitamin C 250mg to 500mg twice per day. Effects debatable in oral form but IV did help in China. But is proven to strengthen immune system
Green Tea either drink some or 1 pill per day alternate zinc ionophore if you don't have or don't take Quercetin
Famotidine 10-20mg twice per day potentially inhibits viral replication and helps with heartburn
Baby Aspirin 81mg aspirin to thin blood and help prevent clots but only after discussing with your physician to make sure you have no contraindications to its use.

I'm not Vitamin D deficient but take a supplement based on Rev's recommendation.

I Take Zinc (which I've done for years...having little kids has me on anything that'll keep me healthy in their cone of pestilence).

I've also gotten much more militant about my diet. Trying to avoid as much processed crap as possible and exercise more to provide a higher baseline of health. Shouldn't take COVID to do it, but it did.

Also been taking Melatonin at night as well. Did this more on the idea that sleep helps your immune system.

I probably have 15 pills that I take, and only one of them is prescription. Some are for blood sugar maintenance, and I added Quercetin and zinc off of Dr. Rev's suggested list. I get a 32-oz cup of water and slug them down in two rounds after eating breakfast.

Haven't had Covid yet (to my knowledge, anyway...tested negative for antibodies in August), know a few people who have had it, but no one close to me.

I wasn't taking them, but tested positive. Started taking some of them (Zinc, D3, C) and it upset my stomach, so I stopped.

Doc recommended cinnamon and berberine a few years back when I was showing signs of being pre-diabetic (grandfather and uncle were both diabetic).

They seem to work pretty well for me, anyway, because my blood sugar improved even though my diet and weight didn't change for the better until the last year or so.

Berberine is something I get through Amazon. CVS-type places don't seem to carry it.

I've been taking all the supplements before I saw Reveille's post seems like since April. Found out about it here. Eastern Virginia Medical School

Lot's of good info. I had never heard of EVMS but they have been around and long time and very respected.

They are constantly updating the recommendation including adding Ivermectin which is kind of usual.

No Covid here, but that doesn't really mean anything. All these are inexpensive so I figured it can't hurt.

There's very little research that the stuff prevents infection.

I would be skeptical any supplement has that power.

And some of them are water soluble vitamins that a normal diet has already saturated your body's ability to absorb, the excess will just be peed out. Honestly, in many ways it's just paying for expensive urine.

The logic behind the D is solid. It's clear that covid comes at you in a way that quickly depletes D. You don't want to be in that spot.

I tested positive for Covid 5 months ago and have had lingering symptoms this entire time. I tried the supplement plan 2 months ago and haven't really noticed any effect at all. The symptoms still return every 1-2 weeks. I think time is the only thing that will get rid of this virus for me.

My wife and I took them routinely and both tested positive in July. We both had very mild cases. I have no doubt this regimen played a significant role in reducing the severity of our symptoms.

This. Both wife and I had it. Both on this regimen prior to infection. Symptoms very very minor. Basically fatigue for 4 days and no other symptoms.

I've been taking Zinc and Vitamin D since April. Since September, I've added:

Multivitamin
NAC
CoQ10
Quercetin
Vitamin C

It's 8 pills that I take first thing in the morning with a bottle
of water. I've not been tested but I'm taking them just in case. I'm also trying to work in getting my weight/BMI down at the same time.
