Question-
So my mother is really struggling right now. She is 78 and has Alzheimers which certainly isn't helping. But she was only diagnosed a year ago and still knows who everyone is and can have conversations and such. She also has very bad arthritis that kicked in about eight years ago. This combination meant it took a while for my step dad to figure out something was going on. It was only when she said her coffee tasted bad that a lighbulb went off.
Pain from soreness is unbearable, and she cannot really get out of bed for any sustained amount of time. But her oxygen level is consistently 95 and her Xray showed no Pneumonia. I have been under the assumption that as long as those two are good she is relatively speaking, handling it well. She is also eating and keeping down food again.
We feel like she is on the right track, but she would tell you different. Are we more or less right?
