From what I understand, the official proven reinfections are ones that are limited to mostly heavy travelers that could prove through blood tests that it was different genetic strains. There's not many of those.
There are some places counting reinfections as a known positive, known negative, known positive test with at least a month fully symptom free in between, but that also seems like a lot of data that people wouldn't have.
I wouldn't necessarily be surprised to find out COVID-19 cells are getting activated during a common cold which is why people are testing positive again. I've been sick three times so far this year testing negative for COVID or tested negative for antibodies (and not spreading COVID to close contacts afterwards which makes me believe the tests) so other bugs are out there. I don't think we'll know for awhile if reinfection ends up being prevalent.
