How long do you want to ignore this user?
I've asked this question in a couple of threads but Haven't really seen a detailed response.
I've also researched the question and found a few papers which talk more about the potential long effects and less about professional treatment and personal regimens you might pursue to help or even speed things up. I have a follow-up with my Pulmonologist in a few days and I'm scheduled for Chest X-Rays and follow-up tests tomorrow in advance of that visit. I know I'll get for formal advice and council in that visit.

That said, I'm also ways looking for something to do that will help my condition and perhaps some things I can talk to my Doctor about during the visit.

I'm a little over two weeks out of the Hospital and off the ventilator (forced air starting at 30ML / 80%. I was never Intubated, Thank God tthough it was close). I'm extremely grateful for that fact and I understand how lucky I am compared to many others afflicted. I know it can take 6 to 12 weeks in the best of cases to recover close to 100% of lung capacity.

I'm at around 60% lung capacity at this point. I can manage several flights of stairs and most of my standard daily routine. I can walk about half a mile before I get really winded and have to sit for a while. Deep breathes are still very uncomfortable and even painful depending on how far I take it. Even long conversations can wear me out.

I'm still taking "beclomethasone dipropionate HFA" 80 mcg by QVAR RediHaler twice a day.
Beyond that, I'm on the following

Muscinex DM 1200mg twice a day and I'm still bringing stuff up
Zinc, Quercitin, 3000UI of Vitamin D and plenty of Vitamin C

I'm trying to walk a good mile or more as far as I can and I'm doing my deep breathing exercises

Is there any thing else I should be doing?
Is there any thing I shouldn't be doing?
Is there any thing I should ask my Doctor about especially once he sees the X-Rays.

Again, I sincerely appreciate all the amazing folks on this forum out there fighting this and still taking time to give advice and respond to questions like this. You all remain in my prayers.

Thanks
FTR -Eric

You are doing about all you can. Post Covid shortness of breath is difficult to treat. You might ask about increasing the inhaled steroids. I have found nebulized budesonide helps some. Also I would still take a baby aspirin to prevent clots.

Thank you Sir!

I was thinking of asking for an upgrade to my steroid. The most significant progress I had was while I was on the 6mg of dexAMETHasone daily for the first few days out of the hospital.

Once again, thanks for all you do and I hope you're feeling better.
