Anyone know of any places near DFW/ Houston/ Austin/ SA/ Waco/ BCS that are distributing vaccines to people in phase 1B yet (over 65 or underlying health condition) and have vaccines in stock?

Thanks in advance!

I look at this website every week to look at the most recent vaccine allocation chart (links on the right side of page):

https://www.dshs.texas.gov/coronavirus/immunize/vaccine.aspx

The pharmacies, medical centers, etc show up here before they are shown on the map.

I saw that my local Tom Thumb pharmacy was allocated 100 doses this week, so my wife called and asked about getting on a list (as of today they still haven't received the doses). They told her to go to their website and sign up for their updates. So, she did. Not sure what that does other than letting her know when doses are available.

Point is, you might try looking at the allocation charts and see who is allocated doses near you, then contact them.

Thanks PlanoAg79. What day do you normally check/ do they post the new week's vaccine allocation sheet? I'll stay on top of that. Thanks in advance!

The State response is a joke.

The Gov goes on statewide TV on Monday and says, "everyone has gotten guidance to move on to the next phase of vaccine distribution." As of yesterday, my doctor, the doctors office across the street and all HEB's are like, "yeah no." Last last night, HEB had to request their allotment for phase 1B from the state, even though the state says they already got it.
