Keep going, it will only boost your immune response to the vaccination and continue to strengthen it while you build immunity. After approximately 2 weeks you will have 50-55 percent effectiveness and it will grow into the 95 percent range after the second injection. Unless there is a contrindication to one of the supplements that I don't know about, I would press on.

I thought injection 1 took it to 90%, injection 2 95%.

from Dr. not a Dr. yet post with graph, said 90%. Maybe it was not the Pfizer one. I will leave this here, bow out, and let others discuss.

Even if it is 90, you don't get there the next day. I personlly know of one nurse who had the shot and the next week has tested postive twice for Covid. Mild symptoms, but still immunity is not immediate.

Which is normal for vaccinations...

That is figure 3 from the NEJM article for the Pfizer vaccine. The 50% efficacy everyone keeps citing includes everyone who contracted COVID prior to immunity in the first 10 days following dose 1 (where the vaccine has 0% efficacy). Incidence of COVID+ individuals drops precipitously following day 11 after dose 1. The vaccine is 90% effective between day 1 of dose 2 to day 7 which is a time period where you would not expect dose 2 to have any effect on immunity. Dose 2 probably does provide a small boost to short term immunity, and likely provides significantly longer immunity, however.

What about Moderna? I got that today and will definitely get the second dose when recommended but I was wondering what kind of protection I have between now and then.

Near identical time to efficacy.
