For 10 months or so, patients contracting COVID 19 have been admitted to area health care facilities for treatment. The Health Department provides data on hospitalizations, recoveries and deaths. But it is unclear whether the "success rate" for treating the patients has improved over this period. And if it has, what treatments/protocols are preferentially being used to improve treatment? One can find drugs and protocols online, but does anyone know if we have settled on preferred treatments locally and if the treatment success rate has been improving? Thanks.
I sent this to TAMU Public Health (they don't have this info), Brazos County Health Department (no answer) and the Eagle (good question, they may assign a reporter to do a story).

You would think by now we would have some pretty good metrics on treatment success for different ages, weights, comorbities, etc.

Docs - do you give treatment plans and success / failures to any data collection group?

Y'all think that docs will expose themselves to these liabilities? Perhaps this information needs to come from the govt.

TWIV has a series of covid clinical updates from a new york doctor.

In a recent episode, the dr summarized what he has learned in 2020.

Its about 40 minutrs long. Most of it is way over my head (I'm not at all in the medical field). But I think this might be in line with what you are looking for.

Lurker. Thanks, I'll check it out. Some information will be better than no (local) information.
