My father-in-law got pinged by UT Southwestern this AM regarding vaccine availability and has an appointment for tomorrow at 4:30.

My council women then sent an email out for mass vaccinations all day tomorrow at Fair Park for any one older than 75.

If you have that elderly parent and want to get this done, drive on over.

How does it work? My mom is there, but I'm not.

My father-in-law was contacted by UT Southwestern and received an appointment through MyChart.

It looks like your mom can just show up if all else fails.

This is just for a limited time. From the article posted on DMN this morning, there were people that made appointments that did not meet Dallas County's criteria so they have vaccines left over that need to be used. By the end of the week, they hope to have all these extras weeded out and it will go back to "by appointment only"
