Thread title said it all. What do I need to be doing to help them with this? I'm getting tested today, but what supplements are recommended?

Thanks in advance

Dr Rev's thread is really good for supplements

As to your parents, it's not good they tested positive, but don't freak out too bad yet.

I did when my grandmother got it. 88 years old, cancer survivor, failing kidneys, heart disease, had recently had a 3 week stay in a hospital and rehab for heart and kidney issues. 2 weeks after getting out she woke up gasping for breath and was rushed to the hospital. Positive for Covid. Gave her remdisivir and assisted oxygen. I feared for the worst and was ready to say goodbye.

The next evening she was facetiming everyone from her hospital bed and said she felt fine. Was released 3 days later, though continued to test positive for a month

Don't panic.

They need a pulse ox and a thermometer and should monitor temp and oxygen. This also helps with anxiety. Everyone would benefit from a media vacation also.

Megadose vitamin D to start. There is a list of supplements on the forum.

This. Remember, high risk or not, the odds are still in their favor (by a lot) to have a mild case and be ok...not the other way around. That seems to be forgotten. And yes anything can happen with this thing obviously, but start with this for now.

As a side anecdotal case, my parents got it and were fine. Had an easier time than me. They are in their 80s, have diabetes, BP issues, and several lung diseases and issues. Highest of risks. My Dad had allergy like symptoms for a few hrs and that was it. My Mom had fever, loss of taste and smell, and some aches for 4 days and that was it minus some fatigue for awhile.

I would get them the monoclonal antibody ASAP. Their doctor should be able to prescribe it for them.

All 4 of my 80+ year old grandparents have gotten through it with zero intervention beyond Tylenol and vitamin d.

Also check and see if the doctor will prescribe ivermectin. The FDA said last week they will no longer recommend not using it.
