I think 80 million have gotten a shot, how many deaths linked to the vaccine itself vs random chance of death in the days after being vaccinated (which will be higher in nursing home facilities and among the elderly in general)?

Apparently there was an attempt to look at data, but I guess these things are open for questioning (they haven't investigated the deaths enough, they are trying to hide things for the greater good, etc) -

Healthy Hank Aaron died of natural causes. He had a history of prostate issues, hypertension, and osteoarthritis. He was also 86.

Hank Aaron passed away 17 days after being vaccinated. And passed away peacefully in his sleep. I seriously doubt the vaccine had anything to do with his death. RIP Hank.

The article you linked doesn't support your assumption.

Just looking at statistics, determining whether the vaccine contributes to deaths will be difficult. For instance, there has been some concerns raised in Europe about vaccinating the elderly, particularly the frail.

Consider some numbers.....

There are approx 1,000,000 80 yr olds in the US. They have an approx life expectancy of 8 years.
So in 8 years 500,000 will die. For simplicity assume they die at a linear rate. How many die each week?

52 weeks/yr X 8 yrs = 416 weeks
500,000/416 = 1201 deaths/wk

So we expect about 1201 to be dying every week. Now randomly vaccinate 10%. How many of those would
you expect to die in the next month?

The point being we will hear about cases of people succumbing soon after being vaccinated. Over time the numbers may suggest whether anything is amiss. In the short term there is lots of noise.

This little tidbit is why it was so misleading when people were commenting that most of the people being killed by COVID would die in the next 6 months anyways. People were effectively losing 5-10 years of life on average.
