And at the end of that article:

Quote:

And in tangentially related news, the origin theory of COVID19 as an accidental leak from a lab engaged in "gain of function" research just went from "only conspiracy theorists believe this" to being endorsed by a WHO advisor and former Clinton and Biden staffer, Jamie Metzl, in an interview in the Toronto Sun. Wow.
Wow is right.

We've had a few threads on this but it is really just common sense to anyone who studies this matter at all. Bats not from Wuhan as origin, the one grid square on earth where this was being done for research, sloppy facility.

Fauci should be at least asked about his thoughts/support for this GoF research.

A big one that wipes out a sizable portion of the earth's population is going to happen the same way. Just a matter of time. A government that is playing with dangerous toys and has a long history of not giving a **** about human life is a dangerous combo

In general, the more deadly a virus is the easier it is to contain. A major reason Covid is impossible to contain is because of how mild it is for many people who continue to go about their daily lives spreading it around without realizing it. Which is somewhat reassuring.

Typically, but if there was something like HIV that could spread like covid, that would be catastrophic. You could have it for a long time and spread it without it affecting you, but then there's no treatment and deadly.

I know HIV now has a treatment, but it's been many years.
