Maybe because deaths are a lagging inductors of about 1 month after testing + - I gotta tell you people who haven taken COVID seriously might be accused of twisting facts but those that deny it take it to a whole other level of denial.
It is like they are projecting their desire to manipulate facts and distort reality onto those who are taking this seriously.
Yes deaths lag cases. If cases go up, future deaths will likely increase. If cases go down, future deaths will also go down.
Cases have dropped over 50% in the last 3 weeks. We should expect deaths to start plummeting soon as well.
