Thought it was interesting. To be clear - real data, but the purpose is to show off their Power BI tool.

Covid Vaccinations Dashboard

It's early and maybe I haven't had enough coffee to interpret correctly.

But what did Alaska do to receive the most vaccines per 100,000 people? Their cases and hospitalizations aren't very high, so that's not it. Any ideas?

No idea at all - but it's interesting. Two different numbers also - doses distributed and then how many of those distributed doses were administered into a patient. And then the % of doses administered.

% of Doses administered goes to the efficiency of the state to administer what they have received. Alaska didn't do that great.

They almost got 2x the number of doses distributed per 100k people as the number #3.

DC - 23k
Maine - 18k

That seems crazy to me.
I wouldn't even think Alaska would have much political pull, so what contributed to this distribution decision?

Maybe also a military installation...active Duty must be vacinnated

No. At least not yet. Still optional for all service members. However all active duty can get the vaccine if it's available.

21 service members have died of covid out of 145,586 known cases

Could have used those vaccines elsewhere

Agreed. Like people over age 70 because people outside that group are dealing with a fatality rate that is well under 1%.
