I got the Moderna vaccine Friday morning and here's how the weekend went for me. Of course, I was hyper-aware of side-effects so I might not have noticed some of these with a regular vaccine.
Friday afternoon: Arm was sore at point of shot. They must have hit a capillary because it bled quite a bit and I needed 2 band aids. Nothing unusual I would guess.
That afternoon I started having a very dull headache. I was working on a budget spreadsheet and the numbers didn't make any sense at all and I had to start over on the simplest tasks 4-5 times. Also, my wife was discussing one of our kid's blood work results with me and I had a very hard time processing what she was telling me. Again, if it wasn't for these two numbers based things I wouldn't have even noticed.
Friday evening I got the chills but no fever indication for about an hour.
Saturday all that was gone but my arm hurt like hell from the shoulder to mid-forearm. Painful to the touch. I bumped it getting out of the car and nearly died it hurt so bad. At around 5 PM the pain disappeared completely went away all at once. No pain at all. This was the strangest part of the weekend. And when I say all at once it was like a light switch being turned off.
On Sunday I woke up feeling more rested than I have in years and feeling better than I have in years, including my arthritis pain.
Today I feel back to normal.
Just thought I would share. . . .
