Just FYI - it looks like HEB has been opening up a number of vaccine spots this morning. If you just refresh their page something should be available in short order.

Looks like the available spots they have right now are in Austin, Brenham, Beeville, Elgin, Abilene, Floresville, Hondo, Lytle and San Antonio FYI.

Trying to get inlaws in - why when you click on those with spots open it then says nothing available ? Crazy process

Ah, bummer. I've been working on my elderly family and the spots go so fast. I'll sign one family member up and when I try to get a second all appointments are gone.
Is there a combo loco coupon for it and some hill country fare cotton balls?
Keep checking - it took me 10 or 15 minutes to secure a spot.
Had a slot in Elgin but conflicted with a job interview so had to pass for another slot. Good to check every so often
I guess I'm dumb here but could you explain how you get to choose a time from that website ? I click on a location with spots and then says no times available.

Let a buddy know in Brownwood and he is got a spot up in Abilene.

Wow what a mess that was racing to click an exact appointment time before someone else did! Lots of clicking and Ctrl-R but was able to get my grandmother and both in-laws appointments tomorrow / Friday. Thanks for the heads up!
College Station and Austin area stores seemed to have the most available appointments compared to demand as those were staying open longer / opening faster.

I got Waxatchie (sp?) to give me a time so they are out there. It's just too far away.

I think what's happening is when you get in it gives you 10 minutes to complete the page. People are probably in process and then not finishing causing some noise in the systemaustinAG90 said:

Pro tip:
Keep the individual location pages open and refresh those. Saves you clicks and time when spots open up vs starting with the master list. You can't open individual stores from the master list if they don't have appointments but you can keep them open while they are full and refresh them. There seems to be a delay between when a location page shows available appointments and when the main list of stores reflects the availability...so if you don't have the store location page open the appointments will usually be gone by the time main list reflects them (unless they dump a large number of appointments.)

Also outreach has been pretty poor, if you aren't a patient with one of the hospital systems designated to distribute the vaccine your chances of being an eligible patient with the ability to navigate the web portals / MyChart setup / etc is pretty low. I guess dial 211 if you saw the Facebook post...

Hopefully the roll out of the vaccine to HEB, WalMart, etc will push closer to the "last mile" of distribution.

Someone created a script to tweet whenever availability opens up at HEB. Follow @hebtracker and turn on notifications. I am mot affiliated with whoever created this.

Spots went quick. Might see more pop up later in the week as more doses get shipped.
If you live in Big Spring, the HEB there must have received a bunch of doses, because their location was popping up all the time this morning.

To confirm if the site has zero available, there's no way to open and save the link?
