This would be another game changer. Let's hope it works really well after all trials, etc.

Hopefully it works better than Tamiflu.

Are these types of drugs really more effective, if taken early, than Ivermectin? There is so much time and energy put into making new and better drugs but it seems like those prescribing Ivermectin are having enormous success.

No idea. I just want as many things to work as possible.

It doesn't seem like it, but I don't know. Dr. Kory testified in front of the US Senate as to its effectiveness in early December. Since then we have lost over 200,000 more people. It seems to me that if you have a doctor who has been using the medication successfully and willing to testify to it's effectiveness that maybe we should look into it a little more.

My aunt took hydroxychloroquine, ivermectin, and the various common accompaniments and ended up in the hospital. She was in her 50's. My grandma took it and spent a month in the hospital. While we're all sharing anecdotes, people rarely share the "didn't work" anecdotes, but from what I can tell these didn't help much.

Sorry to hear this. It's amazing how unique our bodies are in relation to viruses and other foreign agents.

Do you mind sharing how early they took Ivermectin once they showed symptoms?

The range of disease severity is naturally so wide that there is no way to do this anecdotally. My daughter got ivermectin right away and recovered within a couple of days experiencing only mild symptoms. My doc is more conservative so I didn't get ivermectin, and my recovery was just as fast with mild symptoms as well. Someone could tell my daughter's story and chalk it up to ivermectin, but reality is we dont know

This is exactly why we can't just start making changes to what we consider to be standard of care anytime some random study comes out, or some doctor goes and testifies before anyone else, or holds a press conference, etc. I understand the temptation to start grasp at anything that can help, but to make it standard of care often means you're going to end up shifting focus away from something that could be more helpful.
