Where can a man under 30 get vaccinated in Texas? Every CVS is somehow full..

Any advise on where to actually sign up somewhere?

HEB
Good Neighbor Pharmacy (certain ones such as Pharmacy Plus in Southlake)
Those i know for sure have had appointments lately.

Supposedly, these have also expanded into TX for vacc qppts:
Walgreens
Kroger
Albertsons/Tom Thumb
Sams Club

Vaccinefinder.org doesn't update frequently but cN also be helpful to get a sense of the various locations near you that may have appointments, in addition to the above.

I know a lot of rural counties are welcoming anyone to come, regardless of risk factors. My wife and I drove about an hour for our first rounds yesterday to a rural county outside the city we live because they were specifically offering the vaccine to everyone. These counties might not have the slickest online setups so it might take a little digging. My wife found a Facebook group called DFW Vaccine Finders and someone had posted it there.

If you have risk factors and are signing up in a priority group, just regularly check the aforementioned retail sites and you'll get a spot.

Several CVS locations show available appointments right now.

Cleburne and a Ft. Worth location can get you in on Thursday. Houston and Tyler also show availability. West Texas area always has availability.

16+ with "underlying conditions". Asthma qualifies according to the CDC. So does a BMI of 25, which is barely round...you could be trim and muscular with a BMI of 25. CVS isn't going to care if you sign up.

My wife and I got vaccinated at MD Anderson yesterday. We are both over 65 and she is a lymphoma patient five years in remission. I'm not a cancer patient myself just the caregiver. The vast majority there seemed to be 30s to 50s. That surprised me. What also surprised me is we got the Johnson & Johnson shot. That was fine since we live in Huntsville and it saved us a follow up trip. The setup there was efficiently run and parking in the garage was free.

One thing for sure. The pharmacies are no help. They are entirely booked on appointments and some like Walgreen's aren't even available in Texas. In Houston you can get an appointment through Harris County if you keep calling. My county health department (Walker) is worthless.

As they said above, several CVS locations opened up this morning. I was able to schedule my first shot for Tuesday.

I was checking CVS each morning and last week they didn't have very many openings outside of Borger but the last 3 days they have had quite a few cities show openings.

Galveston county is wide open to any arm and VERY efficient at it. Got the J&J Thursday morning.

I registered in Fort Bend county yesterday morning and got my appointment today at noon for a Tuesday appointment.

There is a really cool slack community that has bots setup for the different pharmacies. There is also an AI bot on there called @vaxxie that will alert you when there are appointments available within a defined radius of your zip code. PM me if you need help.

I got my first dose (Pfizer) through Harris County at NRG this afternoon, but my husband still hasn't been called off the wait list. We got on the vaccine locator site when we got home from NRG and in about 5 minutes got him an appointment at Walgreen's on Tuesday afternoon.

My appointment is with Walgreens, anyone have experience with them? Hoping they don't question me.. just want to get my shot and get out.. don't want to air them my health items.

I haven't heard of any site questioning people

They are not allowed to ask. They will not ask. You already filled a form or clicked a box online saying you are in the categories.
