1) You think the average person is going to go in and eat just one free donut every day?
2a) An extra 200 calories per day outside of the normal eating habits will definitely have an impact
2b) If someone was already eating a donut a day, I'd be they're not in a good physical shape....

No it's just the irony that the people that are first vaccinated are those with underlying health conditions - of which obesity is a huge driver. So the obese people are the ones likely to be vaccinated AND getting their free donut.

Krispy Kreme twitter got ratioed pretty hard, as they should.

It would encourage me to not get tested.

The last thing I need to be doing is driving a 400 miles round trip each day to the nearest Krispy Kreme for a free donut.

Yes! I've lived out of state for the past 4+ years. Duncan just flat out sucks (feels like I'm chewing a dried out cake), and Krispy Kreme is just overglazed.

I missed the cloud like texture of Shipley's.


Also, on a serious note, anyone have a really good video that is less than 10 minutes that hits all the important points to encourage people to get the vaccine.

People that are vaccine hesitant want a real tangible benefit to doing so. It's huge failure in messaging with them as long as we keep the vaccinated under the same restrictions.

Fair point. But there are still a decent number that don't trust the vaccine because it was rushed, they think it's unsafe, want to see more data on long term side effects, etc.

Personally, the biggest incentive for me is not losing my sense of smell. I know I'm not going to die from it, I know I'll probably recover just fine, but I sure do like food. Can't imagine everything being tasteless. Plus also concerned about prolonged shortness of breath with exertion. But I can see how that's not as tangible a benefit as removing the masks.
