So I got the first Pfizer shot yesterday and while my arm was sore, didn't really have any other issue. Today, about 15 minutes ago, I noticed I couldn't smell anything. Tried to drink some lime juice and couldn't taste that either.

Is that an unlisted side effect or did I happen to get Covid at the same time I got my shot?

I would go get tested. I think it's likely you caught COVID a day or two before you got the vaccine

Yeah, you may consider getting tested if it persists the rest of the day. You may have just won the unlucky "got unknowingly exposed right before getting the vx" lotto

Thanks! I'm in line to get tested right now just to make sure. I wouldn't be surprised if I got the 1% side effect either.

Interestingly enough, the test came back negative. I had talked myself into believing I got it when I went to Vegas almost 2 weeks ago. I got back on Sunday the 21st so if I got it there, I'd think I would be positive now. I'm going to go ahead and get tested again on Thursday, just in case.

Funny thing is, I feel great except for the sore arm.
