Getting the J&J vaccine this afternoon largely because of pressure from work. Any tips on avoiding side effects other than a sore injection site? Tylenol? Ibuprofen? Hydrating well? Exercise?

63 year old male health care worker who has never stopped working during the plandemic and has never had symptoms throuout the 15 months since this begam.

Take some Tylenol after. I was mostly a little tired for hours 12-48. Had a super light headache that went away.

This may not apply for J&J but I felt very dizzy and nauseous after the first Pfizer shot. I hadn't eaten anything before the shot and my mom said she experienced the same reaction because she didn't eat beforehand. I ate a full meal before the second Pfizer shot and felt much better afterward.

May not apply for the J&J shot but worth taking into consideration.

I had lower back pain before going to bed the next couple nights - some Tylenol cleared that up quickly.

I had the chills, headache and slight fever. As others have mentioned, it was about 10 hours after injection and was pretty much gone the next morning (lingering headache).

Absolutely nowhere near a flu (even a compressed one).

Where are you guys getting the J&J shot? That's the one I want, I don't want to have to go back somewhere, too busy....I hate needles anyway!

I didn't even know CVS was doing shots. I guess I haven't been looking very hard.

Got my J&J shot from Cedar Park CVS inside the Target store. Did all the paper work online and took me about 5 minutes total to get the injection. No lines.
