Fauci said people in the military who decide not to get the vaccine are "part of the problem" and should think of their "societal obligation". The military is the lowest risk group in the country other than children as it's overwhelmingly young and healthy. Meanwhile his own organization has a similar opt-out rate.

I'm not criticizing those people. I'm just saying that when people hear "50% of the CDC hasn't had the vaccine", it can sound like "oh God, it must not be safe if the 'experts' aren't willing to take it".
