Can someone explain this? Clearly the vaccinated can get and spread covid, why are people pretending that if you have the vaxx you are fine and don't need to quarantine?

I'm so lost as to the method of defeating/measuring COVID at this point. I think the entirety of the population is getting fed up with flip flopping and over politicization of this crap on both sides (obviously more so from one side).

This is what I'm talking about you assume that the vaxx is keeping you safe from spreading and I'm saying that it isn't and the spike in infections is due to vaccinated people thinking that they can go out and about with immunity.

I guess you aren't understanding, I am making the argument the vaccine doesn't prevent infection or the infected ability to spread.

Batchelor party this weekend all vaccinated just found out one guy has covid..... seems as if the vaxx does nothing.

Part of the point is that the vaccine also lessens symptoms and drastically reduces serious illness.

This happens every season with the flu vaccine as well. You can still get the flu, even if vaccinated, but the flu vaccine still helps minimize symptoms.

I'm not trying to turn this into a political free will discussion.

I'm simply stating that imo this is not an outlier I am stating my belief that vaccinated people have the same %chance of getting and spreading covid.

Now effects my be lessened by getting vaxx but I belive that the drug makers and govt is hiding this and we will soon find out that your odds of getting are not lessened.

What % of the vaccinated population were hospitalized in Israel? What % of the vaccinated are not ill or mildly ill?

So is my point and that is that there are some vaxxinated people operating as if they are invincible


It would be nice if vaxxed or not if you came down with covid you stayed home as to not spread it but some of you feel that since your vaxxed its not a big deal. Am I wrong

The vast majority of people, especially vaccinated people, will be fine.

Focusing on the % of the population hospitalized is important. Very important. Measuring personal statistical risk is very hard when headlines scream about hospitalizations. Risk of hospitalization and death is still very low, especially for vaccinated folk.

I just admitted a vaccinated person into my hospital. 74 year old female with diabetes. This is the first vaccinated COVID patient at our hospital in 4 months. She is not needing supplemental oxygen. Her worst symptoms is generalized weakness. She's only admitted because she's so week she is having difficulty walking around her house.

I'm convinced, given her age and comorbidities, she would either be on the vent or in the ground right now if she wasn't vaxxed.

Hey everyone - ignore massive amounts of data and studies on the effectiveness of the vaccines at preventing covid. AgRebel08 on texags.com "believes" it doesn't work. Probably should just start over.

Amazing after almost a year and half this statement still needs to be made. How many vaxxed people have gotten covid and shrugged it off or blamed allergies? Testing of non-symptomatic people is way down and I bet testing of vaxxed people is way down unless exhibiting certain symptoms.
