3 Future Aggies were named Gatorade Player of the Year for their respective state. It's a huge honor. One 2026 signee, Lolufe Adedeji (Oklahoma) and two 2027 signees Sophee Peterson (Texas) and Isabel Incinelli (Florida). I included the quotes from the website. I think they have Adedji's height wrong.
Sophee Peterson - Texas
"The 5-foot-11 junior setter amassed 1,459 assists this past season for an average of 13.9 per set, leading the Bobcats (42-0) to the 6A Division 1 state championship and a No. 1 national ranking on MaxPreps. The nation's No. 1 ranked player in her class by PrepVolleyball.com, Peterson also recorded 274 digs, 161 kills and 70 blocks. She was named an American Volleyball Coaches Association First Team All-American and she's been an anchor of a program that's won 78 matches in a row en route to becoming the first team to win back-to-back 6A titles in Texas (82-1 in that span)."
Isabell Incinelli - Florida
"The 6-foot-5 junior outside hitter led the Wildcats to a 31-1 record and the Class 7A state championship this past season. Incinelli recorded 384 kills and 207 digs, including 18 terminations in Winter Park's 3-1 win over Plant High in the state final.
