Potential recruiting news today
CommitmentsWhile I'm not eyeing anyone in particular, if the Aggies beat LSU tonight, I could certainly see them landing a kid or two. It'd most likely be in the underclass groups though because their top 2019 targets that will be in town all have set later commitment dates. OffersI do believe the Ags will offer some guys in person today. Two that I'm keeping an eye on are two kids I saw in person last night - Ft Bend Marshall ATH Devon Achane and A&M Consolidated WR Devin Price. Achane is the fastest kid I've ever covered. He had six touchdowns last night, and he was coming off a game where he scored seven. Absurd speed. The Ft Bend Marshall staff couldn't stop talking about him and told me Tim Brewster is very much aware of Achane's game changing speed. A member of the Ft Bend Marshall staff called Devin Price Megatron last night. The kid keeps getting bigger and was using that frame to make big plays for Consol against a highly touted 2020 CB in Avery Helm (who got hurt last night and was a maybe to visit today based on how his doctor's appointment went this morning). Remember, Price should be a sophomore age wise. His transformation from gangly, baby giraffe to legitimate high end WR prospect has been impressive.I'd also throw Manor DE Prince Umanmielen's name into that potential offer hat. Elijah Robinson and Terry Price have both been to see him, and he's expected in town today.
