A few top school lists, and more
Bergen Catholic (NJ) DT Sydir Mitchell Jr. named a top 4 of Georgia, Miami, Texas, and Texas A&M. He plans to announce his college choice on July 3 and right now this one seems to be trending to the Longhorns. Lakeland (FL) WR Tyler Williams named a top 5 of Clemson, Georgia, Ole Miss, South Carolina, and Texas A&M, and he set a commitment date of September 27th. I said it earlier in the week but I look for the Aggies to be a contender here. Heard him and his mom had a great time on the official visit and they were hosted by a familiar face in Gabriel Brownlow-Dindy. It wouldn't surprise me to see him make it back to College Station before he makes his announcement.I am also hearing the Aggies are in good standing with Baton Rouge (LA) University LB Jaiden Ausberry following his OV. The Aggies are looking to add a few linebackers in this class and Ausberry has been on the radar for a long time. I would put him right there with Hill and Gullette as possible additions to Sanford at the LB position. At the moment it appears Michigan is the main competition. Tulsa (OK) Booker T Washington ATH Micah Tease visited earlier this summer and he plans to announce a decision on Monday. Right now, I lean towards him picking someone else, but I could see the lines of communication between him and the Aggies remaining open. I kind of feel the same with Seattle (WA) Rainier Beach CB Caleb Presley who recently named the Aggies in his top six and has a Tuesday announcement.
A few recruiting notes and stuff
First let's start with recent official visitor standout WR Tyler Williams of Lakeland (FL). Friday @ 12pm EST 😄 @Hayesfawcett3— Tyler Williams (@Ty_Williams04) June 28, 2022
From talking to a few sources out of the Southeast, it's looking like this is going to be more of a top schools list. I look for the Aggies and Georgia to be heavily involved. Longtime Texas A&M target and Orlando (FL) Edgewater RB Cedric Baxter Jr. has a decision date set. He announced a top four of Texas A&M, Miami, Florida, and Texas and will announce his choice on August 10. phone on dnd. https://t.co/P5pX1S3Ngn— Cedric “C4” Baxter Jr (@CedricBaxterJr1) June 28, 2022

Seattle (WA) Rainier Beach cornerback Caleb Presley has announced a top six and the Aggies made the cut. The Aggies are joined by Alabama, UCLA, Michigan State, Oregon, and Washington. He visited College Station in the spring and the Aggies continue to communicate but has not taken an OV yet and he has a July 5 decision date. That alone leads me to believe he's headed elsewhere at this time.
