Last night I posted about Lake Ridge 2021 CB Marvin Covington but he is not the only prospect to emerge on my radar this fall. So here are a few new prospects to my radar I think you guys may want to put on yours.DE Harvey Dyson, Cedar Hill (2022) Cedar Hill has been known to produce a top flight prospect or two over the years and 6-foot-4, 260-pound defender Harvey Dyson is beginning to turn quite a few heads with his play in 2020. It says something when the "freak" tag is being thrown around at Cedar Hill. He is a strongside defensive end candidate with the size and athleticism to potentially play inside and out. He played a little bit as a sophomore, but he is already having a breakout junior season. The recruiting process is currently in the early stages with Rice showing some early interest. I look for that to change as the season continues though. Athleticism runs in the family too. His father played football at SFA and his mother played basketball at North Carolina A&T. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/12733698/5f8f1f0fd45e360ff45eab52 TE Nathan Jones, Brock (2022) Stop me if you've heard this one before, but there is a big tight end making plays in Brock, Texas. At 6-foot-5, 240-pounds, Jones is Brock's third leading receiver and a punishing blocker. Brock is a run heavy offense, but Jones has shown himself to be a reliable receiver with 9 receptions for 182 yards and 3 TDs through 8 games. He is a student of the game and he lists Austin Stogner (Oklahoma), Miller Forristall (Alabama), and Jalen Wydermeyer (Texas A&M) as the college tight ends he likes to study. He has yet to receive an offer but SMU, Florida St, Oklahoma St, ACU, and some Ivy League schools are showing interest. He also has some strong bloodlines. His father spent his college days at Texas and Abilene Christian before catching on as a free agent with the Denver Broncos. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/11562697/5f827404b53e880350e96f17 OT Isaiah Robinson, Arlington Lamar (2023) It does not take a long look at the tape to see a big framed, athletic offensive lineman. At 6-foot-6, 285-pound, the right tackle is long limbed and flexible. He is light on his feet and he is explosive. Even with all of that he prides himself on being a technician at the position and playing with sound technique. Offensive line play also runs in the family, 5-star Alabama commit JC Latham is his cousin. As a sophomore, the recruiting process is in the early stages, but Texas recently became the first to extend an offer.
