Drake Fowler and Noah Lugo talk A&M Jr Day
Bryant (AR) 2024 ATH Drake Fowler checks in at 6-foot-3, 175 pounds and has been a playmaker at S, WR, and as a return man on special teams. Over the weekend he was in College Station for his first trip to Texas A&M.Really appreciate @AggieFootball for having me down this weekend, great atmosphere and coaching staff! #GigEm @TJRushing20 @CoachBather @CoachE_TAMU @EarlGill10 @Jason_Howell @ChadSimmons_ @SWiltfong247 @samspiegs pic.twitter.com/EMgPVFKhgq— Drake Fowler (@DrakeFowler0) January 23, 2023 On the visit I loved the facilities and the coaching staff. They really made me feel welcomed. They just treat you like a family up there. On Texas A&M's message They just made me feel like a real family. They brought us down and it was just a real eye opener. The facilities were amazing. On the other schools coming on strong Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Pittsburg State, I'm on Texas A&M's radar and Missouri. On the position he's being recruited to play They're recruiting me as an athlete. They think I can be a versatile athlete. I can move around the ball, but mostly defense. On his style of play I don't know. I'm a versatile athlete like you said. I can play the offensive side of the ball. My hands are really good so I can play defense too and I punt return. On playing defense Just being aggressive and hitting. They call me a ballhawk. I really like going after the ball. *********Fowler earned all-state in 2022 as he helped Bryant to an undefeated championship and the programs fifth 7A state title in as many years. He recorded 33 tackles, 6 TFLs, 3 INTs, 5 PBUs, and he had 25 returns for 438 yards on the season. In addition to football, Fowler also competes in track and basketball. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15344856/637b0f532aa6660908a6c131*******************************************************************Haslet (TX) Eaton 2024 quarterback Noah Lugo returned to College Station over the weekend for Texas A&M's Junior Day, and afterward he spoke to TexAgs about his experience. Thank you @CoachBPetrino for inviting me out to Junior Day, I had a great time! @TexAgs @Jason_Howell @Dameyunecraig16 @FishbackMiles #GigEm @BarstoolTexasAM pic.twitter.com/RuZRHikz8U— NoahLugo14 (@NoahLugo14) January 22, 2023 On his favorite part of the visit My favorite part of the visit was definitely the ball talk and break down with coach Petrino On A&M's message to him The messages was that they understand that people want you all over the country, but they truly care for you and what your needs are outside and inside of football On what excites him about the A&M program The Aggie network excited me because that helps you outside of football and in your future workforce life On his first impression of coach Petrino My first impression is that he's a good guy and he knows what he's talking about. A&M is in the right hands. On offers rolling in and what's next on the schedule Thank you and I have a few places in mind I've been talking to, but nothing as of yet at the moment ******Lugo currently holds offers from Rice, North Texas, and Sam Houston, and he is drawing attention from several Power 5 programs. He completed 137 of 258 passes for 1,637 yards, 16 TDs, and 11 INTs as a junior in 2022, and he rushed for 1,007 yards and 14 TDs on 133 carries. He is also being recruited by colleges to run the 400m hurdles and the 4x400m. He won Area in the 300m hurdles with a personal best of 38.34 and he attended Texas A&M's track Junior Day on January 7. https://www.hudl.com/video/3/15091016/636c0a5fe985280534018e26

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

TexAgs Rating

The TexAgs Recruiting team of Billy Liucci, David Sandhop, Jason Howell, Ryan Brauninger and a host of recruiting interns attends more than 75 games each fall and observes and evaluates every major Texas A&M target, as well as most of the top 150 prospects in the State of Texas. From this evaluation the team draws a rating for each prospect on a scale between 70 and 100.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
