DFW Notes on some key 2026s
A couple of quick notes as we head towards Signing Day.1. We are still very much keeping an eye on Duncanville DE KJ Ford. The Aggies and Gators remain involved as Signing Day approaches and I could see this one remaining unknown until decision day. I do expect Ford to sign somewhere on Signing Day, and in the wake of Florida hiring Jon Sumrall, Ford has been pro-Florida on his social media, However, the Aggies have a lot going in their favor such as relationships and familiarity, and there has been some very good Aggie momentum building. We have been feeling good about the Aggies' chances to pull off the flip and I continue to lean the Aggies direction. 2. Over in DeSoto wide receiver Boobie Feaster is another we have seen a little late smoke. I say a little because right now I would say the odds are against the Aggies and I do not anticipate a flip. However, Texas A&M remains in communication with the longtime USC commit and this fall the offense showed the ability to get the ball in the hands of it's receivers which was a big sticking point when he made his summer decision. In talking to some key sources if there is movement with the USC coaching staff it could alter things, but right now it looks like the Trojans have a solid hold on this recruitment.
