Ags well-positioned for another solid offensive group in 2027
Texas A&M already has a quarterback and two offensive linemen committed in the class of 2027, but Mike Elko & Co. are drawing interest from many of the nation's top running backs, receivers, tight ends and offensive linemen as the 2027s take over in the spotlight.
Mike Elko and Staff on the road
Much of the attention has been on the transfer portal but Texas A&M staff including Elko has been on the road checking in at top high schools and with top prospects. I have been able to confirm a few recent stops around DFW and from what I've gathered they are out checking in with many in the 2027 and 2028 classes. I can confirm Waxahachie was on the schedule with Texas A&M commit JayQuan Snell and offers out to EDG Sedrick Marsh and 2028 DL Aaron Snell. JayQuan has confirmed his plans to attend Junior Day the next weekend (January 24). It is a safe bet North Crowley will get a visit. The Aggies not only have recent transfer John Meredith III high on the priority list, but there are also Texas A&M offers out to 2027 TE Jeramie Cooper, 2027 S Elijajuan Houston, and 2028 WRs Damarion Mays and Hayden Green. South Oak Cliff saw coaches through the door, with plenty of A&M eyes on 2027 OL Brian Swanson. The standout has talked highly of the Aggies and I have confirmed he plans to be in College Station for Junior Day on January 24. DeSoto is always a must stop, Cedar Hill, I've heard a stop through Denton Guyer is in the works, and I was told North Forney home of WR Briceson Thrower was recently visited the Aggie staff. Busy, busy times.
