Cedar Hill linebacker Dimitri Moore has been a popular prospect in the Texas A&M community especially since the decommitment of Devodrick Johnson in August. He is the younger brother of current Texas A&M linebacker Richard Moore, he holds scholarship offers from across the country, and he is a productive linebacker for one of the top high school programs in Texas Saturday, Moore made his way to College Station for an unofficial visit, and he enjoyed his time watching the Aggies in action against Prairie View A&M. "They've been the same since my first visit," Moore said. "The environment is always perfect. I don't think there's another place like A&M when it comes to game day. Then the team is great. Just their energy is perfect. I love the guys. I know most of them because of my brother. It just comes down to the coaches and if the coaches are interested in me or not." When it comes to recruiting, Moore has no problems staying busy. He has a schedule to keep, and he is keeping it. He is setting up visits and he is checking out his college options. "I'm really going to take it all in right now," Moore said. "I have four official visits setup already. I'm going to go to Kansas State this weekend for their game against Florida Atlantic. Then on Oct. 1 I'm going to go visit Vanderbilt with my family. Then Oct. 8 I'm going to visit Minnesota. Then Oct. 15 I'm going to go visit Colorado with Kaegun (Williams)." Cal appears to be the leader for his fifth and final official visit at this time with Arizona State and Missouri also possibilities right now. He also plans to take an unofficial visit to Texas Tech at some point in the fall since the Red Raiders are so close. Moore plans to graduate in December and enroll at his school of choice in January. Over the course of the recruiting process he has received scholarship offers from Colorado, Minnesota, Vanderbilt, Arizona State, California, Kansas State, Missouri, Texas Tech, Arkansas, Illinois, Indiana, Iowa State, Kansas, Nevada, New Mexico, North Texas, Rice, SMU, Texas State, Tulane, Tulsa, and Utah.

Confirmation on a few visitors
Just wanted to put out some names that made it to campus that we originally didn't have or had as maybes. Two commits were maybes in Derrick Tucker and Debione Renfro, but they were unable to make it. Hutto DE Ondario Robinson failed to make it in also. Not a huge deal considering the kick time and planned inclement weather though. The Ags are still in great shape there. A few guys that did make it in were a pair of Cedar Hill guys in LB Dimitri Moore and WR commit Camron Buckley. Moore is an interesting case, and we'll follow up on that this week. It sounds like the Ags are certainly interested enough to keep his name in conversation. Birdville OL Jared Hocker did make it in today. He was a maybe earlier in the week. The Texas Tech commit has been pretty tight lipped since he got his A&M offer, but to me, the fact that he showed up today to an 11 o'clock kick against an FCS opponent means there's some legitimate interest. Something to keep an eye on, no doubt. Other commits that made it in were Jayden Peevy and Devin Morris

TexAgs National Average Rating

The TexAgs National Average Rating is a proprietary formula that calculates an industry-wide aggregate rating for each recruiting prospect. The formula includes publicly listed grades, scores, ratings and rankings by national recruiting services, along with a TexAgs rating. Combining the data provides a rating for each prospect, which is then normalized to fit the TexAgs Rating 100-point scale.

The intent of this rating is to provide TexAgs readers with a comprehensive snapshot of how individual prospects rank nationally.

Staff Predictions

The predictions represent which school each staff member believes will ultimately sign the recruit, and the confidence meter represents his level of certainty in that outcome.

Example #1

If the predicted school is Texas A&M and confidence is set to “High”, then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Texas A&M and I feel very certain about that.”

Example #2

If the predicted school is “Alabama” and confidence is set to “Low,” then the staff member is saying “I believe that this recruit will ultimately sign with Alabama, but I’m not very certain about that.”
