We've played two games so far today and before IMG/Tulsa Booker T. kick I thought I'd give a few thoughtsFrom Game 1 - Tyler John Tyler/New Orleans Warren EastonDekalen Goodson was a constant terror on the edge. He has a long skinny frame and his quickness off the edge could not be matched on the day. In addition to that speed he was able to throw in some counter moves and he showed a great motor throughout the day. He's a bit lean but he can get it. He was the games leading tackler with 12 tackles and 4 sacks.Bryson Smith also had a very strong day on the ground and through the air. He finished with 75 yards on 10 carries and was 11 of 25 passing for 194 yards and 3 TDs. He gets the ball out quick and had nice presence in the pocket. He was not too quick to run and overall he made some very good decisions with the ball.Game 2 - Parkway/LufkinParkway's Terrace Marshall definitely lived up to the billing. He proved to be too much for any one defender on the night. He is long and lean and he moves like a guy half his size. His quick feet were on display throughout the game and he was a threat on the outside all day long. 6 rec for 233 yds and 4 TDs is just not right. Wow is not enough.Sticking with Parkway 2018 QB Justin Rogers has all the tools. He got knocked around on the day, but he has good size and he spun the ball very well. He can flat out put the velocity on the football and put it in some tight spots. He also showed the ability to put touch on the ball and throw with accuracy. Lufkin's Breylon Garcia is a big kid and an intriguing combo player. He was listed at 6-4, 220 and I don't know if he was 220 but he was well put together. He spent most of his time at WR but he also lined up at defensive end.UTSA had a couple of commits draw attention today. John Tyler CB Javontavius Mosley got his hand on more than a few passes and Parkway RB Robert McKnight ran with a combination of power, speed, vision and balance. Those are two steals right there.
