Texas A&M gave the Southeastern Conference one of its four Heisman Trophy recipients in the last six years.
The Aggies helped the league post a 6-3 bowl record last year.
A&M received a $20.7 million share as a conference member last May.
But the Aggies need to beat a Big Ten opponent in a bowl game to be truly vested in the SEC.
That’s why I was hoping A&M would have landed in the Outback Bowl or Gator Bowl instead of the Chick-fil-A Bowl.
