• James White picked up the offense. The tools are there, as good as the other guys.
• Tra Carson's biggest issue when he got here was conditioning. He's very smart and understands what we are doing. When he gets in the secondary, he can really hurt you. He's a complete back.
• Trey Williams has to stay healthy. Right now he's as healthy as he's ever been. We look forward to him having a breakout year.
• All three of the guys are juniors, so we don't really need a leader. Competition takes care of the leadership issue.
• I'm not sure if there will be more carries in the post-Manziel era. That's a game plan issue.
• Brandon Williams needs to stay healthy. If he stays healthy we will see great things from him.
• Tiki Hardeman has been a tremendous help. He's a guy the backs can look up to because he's done it before.
• The renovations are an adjustment, but when you look at the big picture, when the building is complete, it's all worth it.
• I pretty much can do a little bit of everything, but my role last year was power back. I'm more of a balanced style.
• Every day it has been so competitive with those guys in the backfield.
• Ben Malena was a great leader. He taught us to do what the coaches do so we can play, and do anything to help the team.
• I did special teams last year, so I'm used to being back there and helping the team.
• Right now I'm 230.6 pounds.
• I don't need a certain amount of touches. I'm going to make plays when they need me to.
• James White is a great back and he showed coaches that this spring.
• I went to Oregon because I was great friends with LaMichael James. In the end it wasn't the right choice for me. We still keep in touch.
• When I was injured, I wanted to tell everyone I was okay, but they told me not to move.
I want to get in better shape than I already am in.
• I think we, the running backs, are ready to step up and be the lead on offense.
• Brandon Williams is probably the fastest long distance. Trey Williams is probably the fastest in the 40. They ask me how fast I am, and I say 'I don't get caught.'
• It's hard to pick my favorite play between Duke and Missouri.
