After landing two recruits ranked in the national top 40 — Tyler Davis and D.J. Hogg — and the NCAA granting Jalen Jones permission to play immediately, Billy Kennedy and his staff are rolling into the 2014-2015 season with a little momentum building behind them.
That ball of momentum continued to gain speed on Thursday, when the men's basketball program received another verbal commitment from a top-10 player in the state of Texas and top-100 nationally ranked recruit.
