Khris Middleton's buzzer-beater causes on-court party
If you haven't seen it, the Aggie and rising NBA star made a statement on Tuesday night: thirty-point games and even beating the buzzer in traditional fashion just aren't enough.
Middleton, who's averaged 18.5 points in March and scored 29 or more three times — and also beat the Phoenix Suns with a buzzer-beating three on Dec. 15 — has done it again.
The Bucks trailed by two when a fierce scramble ensued after a jump ball and missed layup with less than 10 seconds left, leading to a prayer of a pass from Zaza Pachulia to Middleton, who caught and released it in the blink of an eye. And sank it. Of course.
The play and the celebration that ensued are worth a watch:

Worth a mention: the Bucks had been on a six-game losing streak and the Heat, whose dreams Middleton so coolly ruined, were closing in on them for the sixth spot in the Eastern Conference. Were, past tense.
