Hoover, Ala. — As usual, Alabama is projected as a top contender to win the football national championship.
However, there are an unusual amount of questions and potential vulnerabilities concerning the Tide.
The offensive line will have three new starters. The three leading receivers from last season must be replaced. That includes All-American Amari Cooper, who was arguably the best receiver in the nation. The secondary, which had its problems at times, is now without safety Landon Collins, who left early for the NFL Draft and was selected in the second round by the New York Giants.
But the greatest area of concern for Alabama is replacing Blake Sims at quarterback.
