1. Texas A&M's defense: A&M performed well enough on offense to beat South Carolina, but it was the ghastly defense that resulted in the Aggies' first home loss of the season. The Gamecocks shot better than 50 percent from the field and ended the game shooting 57.1 percent from the three-point line.

The Aggies didn't close out on the perimeter shooters, and when they did, they closed out with their hands low.
