Locker Room Chat: D.J. Hogg discusses hot shooting night and more

On getting everybody in the game...

"It's good. It's especially good for the young 'uns to get a little more court time. This atmosphere is going to be a lot bigger come SEC (play). But still, just to get a little taste out of it is good for our team – and playing different lineups and seeing how well they work together and how hard or how well they can run the offense."

On the near-comeback against Arizona...

"I think it says a lot of what we're capable of, but if we can't seal the deal, a loss is still a loss. But when we're rolling on all cylinders, sharing the ball, playing together and getting defensive stops, I think we have a chance to be great – 'Final Four' great."

On his three-point shooting...

"I think I've had a couple ups and downs here and there, but I'm still getting the hang of it. I'm just going to keep shooting and stay positive."

On expanding his role on the court...

"They look for me to rebound and be a leader. I try to lead with my energy first. I'm not really a talkative person. Energy, defense here and there – when I play defense well, they love that. Just being a good teammate. I'm there for my teammates."

On his holiday plans...

"Just to hang out with the family."
