2018 Hebron cornerback Verone McKinley has been a priority
target for Texas A&M. Former Texas A&M defensive backs coach
Terry Joseph was his lead recruiter and had developed a strong
relationship.
When Joseph left for North
Carolina, McKinley kept a close eye on the Aggies' search for a new
defensive backs coach, and when the Aggies hired Ron Cooper, McKinley
was not surprised.
